Welcome to the Hamilton Centre of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
We are a multidisciplinary team including psychologists and social workers.
All therapists have received specialized training in cognitive behaviour therapy.
Dr. McCabe is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She is the Director of the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic and Psychologist-in-Chief at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. She is also a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University where she is the CBT Anxiety Module Coordinator for the Postgraduate Psychiatry Psychotherapy Program.
Prabhnoor Bhons is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed her Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University in Hamilton. Prabhnoor has experience working with individuals experiencing various mood, anxiety, and anxiety-related concerns.
Melodie Biray is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She received a Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. She has experience utilizing multiple evidence-based cognitive behavioural interventions, including Cognitive

Bethany Easterbrook is a PhD Candidate in McMaster University’s Clinical Psychology program. She has experience treating adults and adolescents with various trauma, anxiety, mood, and emotion regulation difficulties.
Dr. Gardizi is a registered Psychologist in the province of Ontario, with a specialization in the practice of clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology with adults and seniors. He received his Honours Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience and minors in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Taylor Hatchard works with adolescents and adults experiencing a range of conditions, including mood disorders (e.g., major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder), anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, specific phobias) and related disorders (e.g., OCD), and traumatic stress and related disorders (i.e., PTSD). Dr. Hatchard has client-centred approach to therapy and is trained in a number of evidence-based approaches, including disorder specific cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-focused treatments (e.g., cognitive-processing therapy, prolonged exposure therapy), dialectical behaviour therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness. Dr. Hatchard also has specialized training and experience supporting the 2SLGTBQIA+ community.
Dr. Hewitt is a registered Clinical Psychologist specializing in CBT for adults and adolescents with anxiety and mood-related concerns. She has over 10 years of experience in private practice and hospital settings.

Lindsay Szota received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017 from the University of Western Ontario. Her graduate research focused on predictors of negative thinking styles in depression.
