Dr. Randi McCabe is co-founder of the Hamilton Centre for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is responsible for supervising clinicians who are completing their registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University and a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the field as a clinician, researcher, and educator. As Past-President of the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, Dr. McCabe is a passionate advocate of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She has written numerous books to disseminate CBT to consumers and practitioners on a global level, with translations in many languages including Phobias: The Psychology of Irrational Fear, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Groups, The Overcoming Bulimia Workbook, 10 Simple Solutions to Panic, Overcoming Your Animal and Insect Phobias, A Cognitive Behavioral Approach to Weight Management and The Cognitive Behavioral Workbook for Menopause.
