Lindsay Szota is a registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017 from the University of Western Ontario. Her graduate research focused on predictors of negative thinking styles in depression. Throughout her training she held clinical positions at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic, the WSIB Mental Health Specialty Program, and the Women’s Health Concerns Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program, Western University’s Student Development Centre, the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences at London Health Sciences Centre, and in private practice.
In addition to her role at the HCCBT, she continues to work at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton providing both assessment and treatment. At the HCCBT, Lindsay provides CBT for adults with a range of presenting concerns including anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, post-traumatic stress, and related issues including life stress, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Lindsay is committed to providing evidence-based treatment while incorporating clients’ personal needs and goals.
