Dr. Elmar Gardizi

Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Elmar Gardizi is a registered psychologist in the province of Ontario, with a specialization in the practice of clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology with adults and seniors. He received his Honours Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience and minors in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toronto. Dr. Gardizi completed his Masters and Doctoral degree in Psychology at the University of Windsor where his research focused on examining outcome after traumatic brain injury.  He completed his internship and postdoctoral training at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, McMaster University with primary rotations in the Clinical Neuropsychology Service, Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic, and the Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic.  


Dr. Gardizi has been an associate with Hamilton Centre for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy since December 2016 and is also employed as a psychologist at the Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic. Dr. Gardizi provides neuropsychological assessments to adults and seniors with medical, neurological, and psychiatric illness. He also has experience conducting psychoeducational assessments for young adults applying to or attending college or university. In addition to assessment, Dr. Gardizi provides cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to individuals with mood, anxiety, and psychotic-related disorders.
