kelsey gahagan

M.Psy., R.P.

Kelsey Gahagan is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed her Masters of Psychology Degree at Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Behavioural Sciences at McMaster University. Her graduate research focused on evidence-based treatment for symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).


Kelsey is also employed as a registered psychotherapist at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic (ATRC) at St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton. In addition to working with clients directly, Kelsey enjoys providing clinical supervision and training to graduate students within the Masters of Science in Psychotherapy Program at McMaster University.


Kelsey has specialized training in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and experience working with adults and adolescents with various presenting concerns, including anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, phobias, illness anxiety disorder), depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), general stress, perfectionism, difficulties with assertiveness, and low self-esteem.


Kelsey is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment to help clients work towards their goals and needs, using evidence-based approaches.
