Briar Inness is a Clinical Psychologist (in supervised practice), who is clinically supervised by Dr. Randi McCabe. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at McMaster University in 2025; Her doctoral research focused on the behavioural features of anxiety during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Briar completed her clinical residency through the London Clinical Psychology Residency Consortium in Health and Rehabilitation. Briar is also a staff Psychologist within the Respiratory Rehabilitation Day Program at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton.
With a background in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Briar provides psychological services to adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, perinatal mood and anxiety concerns, pain, insomnia, and chronic illness.
